A built-in, high-capacity Hair Catching System* helps keep pet hair out of drains. This patented design is built into the tub at the time of construction, and consists of an integral drain trough the entire width (front to back) of the tub on the drain end. A lift-out stainless steel fine-mesh basket (sized for the drain trough) screens out hair and debris before it reaches the drain opening. Special tuck-under feature ensures ALL water must flow through the Hair Catching System* basket before going down the drain.
A Bathing Pump Recess* offers huge savings on water and shampoo! The Bathing Pump Recess* is a part of the hair catching drain trough structure, and it is sized to accommodate a recirculating bathing pump. The Hair Catching System’s* fine mesh stainless steel basket is made shorter (end to end) to allow the bathing pump to fit into the recess. A fine mesh stainless steel Pump Basket is included to screen hair and debris out of the water as it returns to the pump.
